- What is included in the price?
Prices include boat, captain, mate, license, rods, bait and tackle, and ice. Up to six anglers are allowed per boat.
- Can I bring a cooler for food aboard?
Yes, a reasonable-sized one.
- What type of shoes should I wear?
Something with non-skid soles.
- Should I bring a cooler for the fish I catch?
Yes, you can leave it in your vehicle until we return to the dock. We have a fish box aboard.
- What should I wear?
Be mindful of the weather and time of the year and dress accordingly.
- Are glass bottles allowed on the boat?
Please do not bring any glass bottles or anything made of glass. A rolling and heaving boat is not a safe place for glass.
- Can I bring liquor onto the boat?
No. Hard liquor is not permitted on any of our boats.
- Is seasickness possible?
Check with your family doctor for prescription medication (take as prescribed by a doctor). There are a lot of over the counter motion sickness medications to choose from. Over the counter motion sickness medication should be taken at least two hours before the trip, and another when boarding the boat.
Also, be mindful of the food you eat for breakfast. Greasy food does not sit well on a boat. We also advise getting a good night’s sleep to avoid any sickness.
- Should I wear sunscreen?
Yes, but please only use rub-on sunscreen, do not bring the spray-on type. Spray-on sunscreen makes the deck very slippery.
- Are tips encouraged?
Yes, please. All our mates work hard to make your charter as memorable and pleasant as possible, and tips are a nice way of saying thank you. (20% recommend)
